Is it really free?
Yes. You get the first 5 minutes of each file as text, for 3 files a day, without an account.
How do I turn a WhatsApp voice note into text?
In WhatsApp, press and hold the voice note, tap Share or Forward, and save it to your files. Then choose that file here. WhatsApp OGG and OPUS files work.
Which files can I use?
Audio files (MP3, M4A, WAV, OGG, OPUS, AAC, FLAC, WEBM) and videos (MP4, MOV), up to 2 GB. For a big video, the page takes the sound out on your device first, so only the first minutes are sent.
What happens to my audio?
We delete the audio right after we make the text. The text itself is deleted within one hour.
My recording is longer than 5 minutes. How do I get all of it?
Sign up for Noter AI and upload the same file in the web app, or import it in the app on iPhone or Android. You get the full text, a summary and the action items. Recordings longer than 5 minutes need a Noter AI subscription.
