What VOMO costs in 2026

VOMO has a free plan and one paid plan, called Pro. The free plan gives you 60 minutes when you sign up. That allowance is given once and does not refill each month. On the free plan, each uploaded file can be up to 30 minutes long. There is no timed free trial: the 60 minutes are the trial, and no card is needed.

Pro removes the minute count and raises the file limit to 3 hours. VOMO's pricing page lists Pro at $19.99 a month. In the App Store, VOMO sells Pro at $7.99 a week, $19.99 a month, or one of two yearly options priced $71.99 and $99.99. On Google Play the items run from $7.99 to $99.99.

Noter AI is $9.99 a month or $69.99 a year. That is half of VOMO's monthly price, and below both of VOMO's yearly App Store prices. One plan includes everything, from the meeting bot to phone recording, summaries and chat. There are no AI credits and no cap on summaries.

What VOMO actually is

VOMO is an AI transcription and meeting notes app made by EverGrow Tech Inc. It is aimed at professionals, students and creators. You record audio in the app, or you upload an audio file, a video file or a YouTube link. YouTube import only works for videos that already have captions, and bulk import takes up to 10 files at a time.

It runs on iPhone, Android and the web, and there is also a command-line tool. A Mac app is listed as coming soon. The iPhone app, called VOMO: Transcribe Audio to Text, needs iOS 16.2 or later and has a 4.5 rating from 377 ratings. The Android app shows 500+ downloads.

VOMO lists 90+ languages, with mixed languages included, and can translate a transcript into English or another language. Each recording gets speaker labels you can rename, a summary, key takeaways, action items and chapters. You can export to TXT, image, Markdown, HTML, PDF or DOCX.

What it lacks is a way into an online meeting. There is no bot. For Zoom, Teams or Google Meet, VOMO's meeting recorder page says to "play remote voices through speakers so your microphone can capture both sides", or to upload the meeting recording afterwards.

Why people look for a VOMO alternative

• No meeting bot. VOMO cannot join a Zoom, Teams or Meet call. You either play the call out loud so the phone can hear it, which rules out headphones, or wait until the call ends and upload a recording someone made.
• 60 free minutes, given once. The free allowance arrives at signup and does not come back. A single hour-long meeting uses all of it.
• 30 minutes per file on the free plan. A 45-minute interview has to be cut in two before you can upload it without paying.
• $19.99 a month for Pro. That is $10 a month more than Noter AI, or $120 more across a year of monthly billing.

After the recording, you get a transcript with speaker labels and timestamps, and tapping a line plays that moment. The summary comes in six styles: minutes of meeting, key bullet points, an email, a to-do list, a formal report, or an instruction you write yourself. Action items are pulled out with names attached. A chat answers questions across all your notes, such as what you agreed to send in June. Your audio is encrypted in transit and at rest, and it is never used to train AI models.
