What NoteGPT costs in 2026

NoteGPT sells four plans, and all of them count minutes. One Basic Quota pays for one minute of audio or video, and the counter resets each billing cycle.

The free plan gives 15 quotas a month, and a file on the free plan uses 5 of them. Pro is $9.99 a month, or $9 a month billed yearly, which comes to $108 a year. It includes 1,000 Basic Quotas and 100 Premium Credits a month, with local files up to 1 GB. Unlimited removes the Basic Quota limit and adds 2,800 Premium Credits for $29 a month, or $239 a year. Max is $99 a month, or $829 a year, with 10,000 Premium Credits.

Noter AI is $9.99 a month or $69.99 a year. Paying monthly, it matches NoteGPT Pro. Paying yearly, it costs about $38 less than Pro and $169 less than Unlimited, and neither Noter AI plan has a minute counter.

NoteGPT offers no free trial of its paid plans, and refunds are limited to 24 hours after the first purchase. Noter AI has a free plan, and every subscription starts with a free trial.

What NoteGPT actually is

NoteGPT is a website at notegpt.io, with extensions for Chrome and Edge. It calls itself an "AI Agent for Work & Growth" and is aimed at students, educators, researchers and creators. You give it something that already exists, like a YouTube video, a PDF, or an audio or video file. It gives back a transcript, a summary, key points, a mind map, flashcards, a quiz or slides. The Chrome extension, built around YouTube summaries, lists 400,000 users.

There is no official NoteGPT app on the App Store or Google Play, and notegpt.io links to no store listing. Apps named NoteGPT do appear on the App Store, but other developers publish them. One of them points to notegpt.com, which is a different company.

For meetings, NoteGPT's meeting note taker page asks you to "choose your audio or video file from Zoom, Teams, or any platform". The call has to be recorded somewhere else first, then uploaded. NoteGPT does not send a bot into the call. For recording in person, it sells a separate pocket device called EurekaMind 2.0.

NoteGPT publishes no single language count. Its YouTube summarizer page says over 60 languages, and its audio translator page says over 100. Speaker separation, which labels who said what, is listed as a Premium feature. Exports cover TXT, SRT, DOCX, PDF and Markdown.

Why people look for a NoteGPT alternative

Most people who search for a NoteGPT alternative have a meeting or a lecture coming up. They want notes from it without a second app to capture the sound. These are the gaps they run into.

• No way to record from a phone. There is no official NoteGPT app for iPhone or Android. A lecture hall, a client's office or a phone call on speaker has to be recorded with another app and uploaded later.
